The winter season will end pretty soon and Spring will be here before you know it.Today I am sharing one of my favorite color trends of the winter season. Burgundy was the new black for winter 2012. I created this combo of pink and burgundy look,inspired by Tory Burch runway look above. I mixed shades of burgundy and pink with a touch of gold.Burgundy is such a rich and elegant color and can add a touch of class to your wardrobe. By adding gold accessories to burgundy enhances the beauty of this shade.

Colored pants are back in style.It didn't take long for them to come around again.Colored pants were in style this spring/summer,but they have made their way back for fall.You will find colored pants this fall in skinny,baggy or boot cut styles.If you own a pair of colored pants invade your closets.You can create so many styles with colored pants by pairing them with printed tops,patterned sweaters or classic blazers.

On today's blog, I'm thrilled to share two of my favorite spring 2012 collections.

The first collection is Jason Wu.I love his crisp, clean, and classic lines,with a touch of 50's inspiration.His use of yellow and pink are the perfect hues for spring, these colors come to mind when I think of spring.This collection is perfect for the modern girl,elegant,simple and classic.

The second collection is Gucci.I've always been a very big fan of Gucci fashions.I really adore this collection,because of the inspirations from one of my favorite fashion eras...the 1920's.I love the flapper style drop waist dresses here.I did a collection of 20's inspired dress sketches years ago, almost similar to the Gucci collection.I'm looking for those sketches now.I will post some pics of that collection as soon as I come across them.

Today the weather was quite nippy; the first sign of the end of summer and beginning of fall.I'm not a big fan of cold weather,but I'm in love with fall fashions.My favorite fall item is my pea coat.
