 New York fashion has finally come to an end. I missed out again this year. I hope next year I will be right there watching the models glide down the runway. I gathered some of my favorites from the Diane von Furstenburg Spring 2013 show. I adore her free flowing sheer fabrics and her signature style prints. She's one of my favorite designers when it comes to colorful prints and sexy dresses.

My fashion pick of the day :70's inspired shoe by Jeffrey Campbell. I am absolutely in love with this shoe.I love the towering 5 inch heel,prefect for adding height,if you're short like me.I'm really not a big tapestry wearer,so I'm glad Jeffrey has other fun and funky colors in this style.

This shoe reminds me so much of the Jessica Simpson's my sister wore this weekend.I will share a review of the Jessica Simpson's in another blog this week.I wonder if they are really comfortable.I'm sure my sister will let me know.

This weekend I had very little time for thrift shopping.I could only daydream about it through this photo called window shopping. My summer has officially started,because I'm on summer break.My last day of school was Friday.I will miss the kids,but it's time to enjoy some free time.I hope my summer includes travel,shopping and family get togethers.I will definitely need to do a little shopping for my summer wardrobe...so out dated right now. Here are few of my favorite pieces from Nicole Richie House of Harlow 1960.I'm so obsessed with her collection.

Doing a little online shopping today...my first stop Express.Check out  the teardrop dangles, perfect piece for this Springs whites.I will definitely put these on my most wanted list.

I really didn't watch the Oscars this year,but I really enjoyed my favorite part...the red carpet.It was so exciting to see who was best dress and worst dress.I had a couple of favorites,but my number one choice was  Halle Berry.Halle can pull off any look,she looks fabulous in everything. I would love this dress as a wedding dress....sexy but elegant.

Pretty N Pink

Today I'm going to goodwill to let go of a few of my favorite pieces.I have piles of clothing,accessories and handbags. Some pieces were hard to let go....could I be a clothing hoarder? I have this vintage pink sweater I want to keep but it's stained,not due to age,but because of me.I think I spilled a cleaner or bleach on the sleeve.I know some vintage pieces can be restored.I think I'll try this bleach repair tip for now or maybe redesign this piece.

Cozy Knits

Very cold today and tomorrow,the perfect piece for this weather....a warm and cozy chunky knit scarf or sweater,but for me I prefer the knit dress.I haven't worn my knitted dress yet, maybe this weekend. 

 

Peacock

Just put these gorgeous earrings on my wish list.This year I plan to wear more earrings and I'm in love with these antique peacock dangles.I think this week they will be mine,if I get to them first.

The Little Black Dress

My fascination with fashion,has always been the little black dress.Every woman should have a little black dress in their closet.Growing up black has always been one of my  favorite colors,I would wear black all the time. I always wanted a shop called the little black dress,another one of my business ventures...maybe in the works again.

Today I said goodbye to my colorful serpent clutch.This 80's style clutch was absolutely gorgeous and hard to let go.I didn't need it because my closet is fully loaded with a variety of handbags right now.  October is my favorite month....my b-day month,so today I decided to share my shop favorite for this month. This adorable little orange wool sweater....oh so cute and perfect for Halloween.Everyone needs at least one orange or pumpkin colored piece to wear for Halloween.Any shade of orange will be just fine,just pick a shade of orange that suits you.
